Taking Care of Trees

When was the last time you walked around all of your buildings to look at how close the tree branches are getting to those expensive gutters and windows?  Chances are it's been awhile and things might be getting a little too close for comfort.

Everyone loves big mature trees.  They do a lot for a property's appearance and provide shade, security and unmatched environmental benefit.  But overgrown trees that have not been maintained also pose safety hazards and expensive risks to your property.  Trees need to have a safe clearance from buildings so branches moving around in strong winds don't rub against the exterior.  The price of pruning back tall tree branches is much less then replacing siding, paint, windows, gutters and anything else the branch may damage.

Your trees will appreciate the "hair cut."  Trees need regular maintenance to thin out the heavy branches supported by the trunk.  Doing so will help prevent cracking limbs and allow airflow and light through the canopy.  All of these things combine to encourage healthy growth and the safety of your buildings.
