Our goal is to share with you things that are going on here at Teufel, how we are responding to ever changing demands (new government regulations and what they mean for all of us in the construction, property management, and nursery industries), and to present creative solutions to some of our daily challenges.

Teufel ... Professionals in Horticulture since 1890. We are proud to be involved with many of the largest and most complex landscape installations in the Pacific Northwest. By providing year around landscape maintenance services, we continue that relationship throughout the life of the landscape. We have created a number of memorable outdoor living spaces for homeowners throughout the region.
We would like to share with you some great ideas and an insight that can only come from working with the land for over one hundred years. Sometimes the best solutions come from a well thought out practical approach that has been tried and proven over the years. Other times we need to utilize the latest scientific discoveries, figuring out how to put them to immediate use. The Teufel Times will feature our projects and the creative solutions to environmental issues by the Teufel Team of Landscape Professionals. We are very excited to have this opportunity to share our knowledge with you, our valued business partners.
Restructuring Update. On June 24, 2009 Teufel Nursery, Inc. was forced to file with the court for protection from our previous lender. The reason this protection was needed is that our previous lender took overly aggressive steps and left the company without enough cash to operate normally.
This was not a liquidation or going out of business court filing, but rather a debt reorganization. As a solvent operation, the court has allowed us to continue business as usual, although operating on a cash basis. We have 120 days from the filing date to provide the court with a financial reorganization plan. Upon approval by the court, we will put our new financial business plan in place.
We sincerely thank all of you who have been so kind with your words of support and encouragement. We know that we are not the only ones affected by this action. That is why it is important to us to keep all of you informed as we work through this process.
